The band led by Andrés Ferreiro takes us back in time, recalling the freshness of Los Piratas. In addition to the similarity in their distinct stage presences, the young artist has inherited a taste for deep lyrics. This is precisely what has revolutionized social media in recent weeks following Andrés’ appearance alongside Leiva during a surprise concert at El Náutico de San Vicente, sparkings widespread interest in learning more about QUERIDO, the project fronted by the young Ferreiro.
The four members of this emerging band—Raúl Fernández (drums), Roque Ben (keyboards and synthesizers), Antón Vigara (bass and synthesizers), and Andrés Ferreiro (vocals and keyboards)—have shared and felt a passionate attraction to music from an early age, dedicating countless hours to perfecting their skills as musicians. This shared passion brought them together to form Querido.
The band’s sound is shaped by a variety of musical influences, including artists and bands such as Love of Lesbian, Iván Ferreiro, Egon Soda, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and Arctic Monkeys. These influences intertw in a unique way within QUERIDO’s compositions, creating a style that combines catchy melodies with deep, meaningful lyrics.
The band has just released their debut album, featuring 9 standout tracks. An album that explores ethereal themes such as love, freedom, and the philosophy of life, each song serves as a window into introspection, inviting the listener to reflect on their own emotional and existential journey. The combination of intimate lyrics with the energy and dynamism of QUERIDO’s music creates a unique and enriching listening experience.
Along with this album, the band from Vigo has announced their first tour, the “UNA NUEVA ESPERANZA IV TOUR”, which will take place across 6 Spanish cities—Barcelona, Huesca, Vigo, A Coruña, Bilbao, and Madrid—during the month of November.
