Alex del Toro is a DJ and producer from San Sebastián who has been involved in the music world since he was 15 years old. He has been part of the most important clubs in his city; a resident for 5 years at Bataplán Disco and later at Gu San Sebastián. Since 2007, he has been the official DJ for the San Sebastián International Film Festival. Alex has also been a musical advisor for Kike Sarasola’s Room-Mate Hotels chain since 2011, creating customized sessions for their different hotels and performing in cities such as New York, Amsterdam, Miami, Madrid, and Barcelona. In 2022, Alex was once again chosen as one of the guest residents at the prestigious French club Carré Coast in Biarritz, where we can hear his more underground electronic side as part of his personal project called ‘IDKW’. Being a great lover of the arts, we have seen Alex collaborating at the inauguration of the emblematic “Chillida-Leku” museum, or working with the Bokado-Arzak group for a 16-Michelin-star dinner at the Cristobal Balenciaga Museum. From 2011 to 2018, he was sponsored by the brand “Bench” and represented them on the “Space Ibiza on Tour” alongside Camilo Franco. He has also worked with the designers Alvarno for various fashion shows, and for the Heineken brand, both performing solo and sharing the stage with renowned artists. Throughout his career, this DJ has collaborated with renowned composers and bands such as La Oreja de Van Gogh, Alex Ubago, Iván Ferreiro, David Feito, etc. He has also produced and released original songs and official remixes for artists like Nil Moliner, Sweet California, and Folamour.
